Had a weird expirence as a kid

I had a friend as a kid that I'm pretty sure was a ghost.

I was 5 and I think she was around my age. She said here name was Annabeth and that she wanted to be my friend, so me being a lonely little kids was all for it. No one could see her though. Everyone thought she was just my imaginary friend. I KNOW she was real though. She was always wet and always wanted me to follow her into the water. Everytime we went past a pond or drove past a creek, I could see her standing by the water, waving at me to follow. It freaked me out so I never did. I stopped seeing her when I turned 6, she was just gone...

I always wonder what would have happened if I followed her. She never seemed violent, but idk ¯\_(o_o)_/¯

That sounds typical for a ghost. I suppose she may have been trying to drown you. Though If she was that young, she may not have had malicious intentions. What an intriguing encounter.

Yeah I suspected she was trying to drown me. Maybe she was lonely idk

I would assume so, lonely ghosts (and kids) tend to be in need of company.
